An alder body topped with 1/4” flamed maple wears a killer Candy Red and Black finish, with a light relic and aged nickel hardware giving it just the right amount of worn-in character.
The neck is built from Padauk with a Wenge fingerboard, this exotic wood combination gives the guitar a premium look and feel you won’t find hanging on every music store wall. The rich reddish-brown Padauk against the dark, heavily grained Wenge is striking, while a hand-rubbed tung oil finish and heavily rolled fingerboard edges give it that smooth, broken-in feel from day one.
A pair of 9 Point Guitars Custom Shop Southern Twang single coils deliver everything from clean, crisp country bite to gritty Southern rock. The 6-way switching gives you even more tonal ground to cover without complicating the traditional one-volume, one-tone layout.
Under the hood, Dead Red is loaded with quality components including CTS pots, Orange Drop capacitor, treble bleed, Pure Tone jack, vintage cloth wiring, and fully copper-shielded cavities.
